To set the alarm hold down the Alarm On/Off button until the display reads "ALAr." Then use the + / - buttons to set the time (press once to move time by one minute or hold down to quickly scroll through the time). Finally press the Alarm On/Off button again to save the alarm time and turn on the alarm.
